I was brought in to revitalize the FlatWorld brand, moving beyond its standard, simplistic design to create a more engaging and contemporary identity. While the logo remained unchanged, my task was to reimagine how the organization could resonate with both educators and students, presenting itself as modern, dynamic, and relevant in the educational space.
Brand Vision
Reimagining the brand while preserving its fundamental elements involved incorporating the existing color palette and enhancing it with bold contrasts. To achieve this, I introduced black as a striking offset to the soft colors, infusing the materials with energy and vibrancy. Building on the logo's open book design, I integrated the outline of an open book and the linear patterns of book pages as key visual elements throughout the supporting brand assets, creating a cohesive and dynamic aesthetic that tied back to the organization's identity.

Highlighting the product's versatility across various formats was a central focus of the materials. To achieve this, innovative and engaging ways of presenting imagery—such as showcasing the product on laptops and mobile devices—were developed. These creative approaches added a fresh, youthful energy to the organization's outreach, making the brand more relatable and visually appealing to its audience.
A fresh set of custom iconography was developed, accompanied by a complete suite of print, business, administrative, and social media materials. This was complemented by a comprehensive website redesign and the integration of dynamic video elements, ensuring a cohesive and modern brand presence across all platforms.
